caralaurenn Have you tried reinstalling the 2015 and newer VC++ runtimes? If not, please do so now, as the other reply suggested. More specific instructions are here, under "Game won't launch":

If that doesn't help, try the same but for your 2010 VC++ runtimes, and if that doesn't help either, replace the 2013 runtimes. You can find new copies (both x86 and x64 in both cases) here:

I tried all of that and it still will not open for me
this did not work... I downloaded both packages and tried to run the programs and they failed to install, same as the games.
I'm running a brand new and up to date system and I can't even get these to install wth @eagames :((((
