Sims Legacy Collection won’t open

A quick update, i was able find my pc's version of the Vulkaninfo.exe, if you can't find it i suggest pressing windows key + r and typing "msinfo32" in the box that pops up and press ok, then click file and save and name it, i named it what they suggested to name it when sending the pm to Solaire but did make sure to mention that my pc doesn't use the vulkan.exe that they mentioned to use.

puzzlezaddictthat one is basically impossible to navigate now, all the replies to it make it impossible to find tips and help from other users regarding issues like the one I had with not having Vulkaninfo. I’m not trying to cause issues but perhaps a more condensed thread should be made with a master list of all useful information players can use. If I dont have vulkaninfo then there most definitely has to be others who don’t either and maybe this could help them get their pc specs to be able to send to Solaire without feeling like they are stuck and potentially out of luck.

MopsyDoo  I've been putting all the relevant info in the accepted solution of that master thread and am working on a master list of known issues.  Look for that later, stickied to the right side of the page.

In the interim, a number of people in the can't launch master thread have said reinstalling their newest VC++ runtimes helped.  If you'd like to try, open Windows Settings > Apps, scroll down to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables, and uninstall everything from 2015 and newer.  Don't touch the older versions.

Download the x86 and x64 versions (not the ARM version) of the 2022 runtimes from Microsoft:

Install the runtimes, restart your computer, and try to play.
