The Sims 1 Can't remove Hat please help

So.. i aged my son using the charm spell that only he could do, and he ended up with an outfit, the problem is i can't seem to remove the helmet on his head, if any one has any ideas please let me kn...

Ah, the good old days.  Hats are a permanent part of your Sim's anatomy in TS1, I'm afraid.  I'm reminded of the time my baby aged up and sprouted the dang wizard hat.  I ended up exiting without saving and trying again.  Thankfully, he got one of the hatless heads that time.
