The Sims 1: Game Won't Launch

Question

I am playing on a Windows 11 laptop and bought through the EA APP as a bundle with Sims 2. Sims 2 so far has worked fine. With the Sims 1, I no longer get the Vulkan device error message but it is now still not launching. I log into the EA App hit play and it just reverts back to the EA App again. No error message of any sort. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the microsoft visual 2015-2022 x86 and x64 versions again as mentioned in another thread, but that has not worked. For what its worth, I am in Canada.&nbsp; EA_Solaire&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

Luckily you can redownload the opencl opengl and vulkan compatibility pack! It's super easy, just type it into the internet browser search bar and you should be able to find it! :)&nbsp;

I should note, I also uninstalled the "OpenCL™, OpenGL®, and Vulkan® Compatibility Pack" that has been mentioned and restarted my computer and it still just goes back to the EA App after trying to launch. I hope I didn't need that package installed for anything else LOL I am not very computer savvy, but this gal wants to play the Sims!! haha&nbsp;
