Before the legacy version I had The Sims installed and was able to import lots ie: The Hatfields, Jones, etc.
Have tried with legacy version and so far no luck. Can add to import folder but they do not show up ingame under import Family.
Has anyone had any luck with this?
So I just had success importing families! I downloaded the files from here
Those files imported with no problems. Hope this helps.
Strange but true I tried one yesterday and it imported. However when I tried another I got the "cannot import" message. So it seems like Kittybass said it is hit and miss, with more hit. That was using the C:Programfiles/EAGames/SimsLegacy/UserData/Import
belalucinaI will recheck your link but first time through I didn't find the actual original family/lot downloads. Will try again.
Update: Did not work. Family shows up in Select a family but the lot does not import w/family intact.

Updating this: puzzlezaddict By going into permissions on these downloaded lot files I was able to import them all. Strange but true.
