hello,you can add a parameter to sims.exe shortcut,e.g "D:\Maxis\The Sims\Sims.exe" -debug_objects",and when error occurred you will get a in-game popup message,now browse game directory find out: ObjectError_hxx_txxxxxx files,analyze the error log,they can tell you which file broken
also you can use SimEnhancer to check object errors、codex and iffpencil to debug them
