unable to launch the sims 1

unable to launch the sims 1 and have been trying for the past week with no resolution. i get the message "The game was unable to find a suitable vulkan device on this machine. please update your graphics card and try again". my graphics card is just a  intel(R) HD graphics card. there are no updates for it and i cannot locate on my computer if it has a vulkan device or not (i dont think it does) i have tried every option to fix this suggested on here and ea help with no successful outcomes. I just want to relive my childhood :( and not waste money on something i cant play. My computer is a ASUS with

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz   3.30 GHz

system type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

running windows 11
