Anyone got this bug when downloading Sims 2 LC?

“Some needed files were corrupted during the installation.”   I reinstalled the game, I even reinstalled the EA app I contacted the support team, but they said that they will fix this bug and that ...

I have the same problem. Tried to reinstall the game and EA app but nothing works. Sims 1 works fine for me

    i have the same issue but sims 1 works i want to play it on a new computer not on the old one i hope they fix this asap. i am not the only one who want to play this sooo badly!!
