Breaking engagement

You have to get their relationship in the negative, or at least low enough for them to fall out of love. Once they are out of love with each other, you should have a interaction to break up.

Ah OK. They are in the negative on their daily relationship score but they are still about 50 on the lifetime score. So I guess I need to keep inviting him over and being rude in front of them! :D

Have them wooohoo or kiss In front of the original guy.

He will then be furious. The break up option should be there. I hope you like having your trash can kicked lol

Jules! What kind of Sim goddess would I be if I killed my subjects!? I think I’ll stick to just being rude. Maybe he’ll get the picture when the baby comes.

Funny thing: the relationship was difficult to create. Now he shows up multiple times a day. Constantly trying to get in the house.

you could just get the relationship low then do the marriage. if it is low enough he will leave you at the altar. looking at the date of the post you have probably already done one of the things suggested above, I am just putting out there.

The fastest way is to cheat in front of him, then insult him, start a fight, it won't be long before you can say it's over. Rememer the one doing the breaking up stays on the lot and the one broken up with is the one who has to leave and move out if they live there. That's automatic and you can't stop it once it starts the moving out.

Fortunately, the unwanted boyfriend never moved in so when I do finally get them to breakup, no worried on who moves. Interesting idea theFella. I'm SUCH a mega-controller, I don't think I could let a couple risk having a bad wedding but perhaps I will consider that one day. Could be yet something else I've never seen in TS2 (the list is a mile long).

Jules, I once convinced my now 30Something gamer designer son to try TS2. He created a party, built a room full of grills, got the people inside and took out the doors. You can imagine the carnage. It was his way of saying he didn't like TS2. I never let him touch it again. That was probably 18 years ago. I still give him a hard time about it. *laughs*
