When trying to play any neighborhoods, the game crashes on "loading pets" screen. No error message is displayed. Errors only reported in AppErrors and Audio Errors. Appear to all be music related. Playing on PC, Windows 10.
mate54The documents folder is not in OneDrive. I updated my video card driver to the most recent version. This time, I was able to get the game to load after moving/deleting the Neighborhoods folder, and it succeeded past loading Pets in a neighborhood. However, it failed on the next screen - "weather".
KHilliard13 Thanks for letting me know. Please let me know whether your Documents folder is on OneDrive; you can do so using the following command in Command Prompt:
reg query "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" /v "Personal"
Also, if you wish to disable the Pets subhood let me know. The only thing Creating Pets does is add NPCs from the Pets pack that the game would generate anyway when needed, as well as the Roseland and Crittur household.
You can also check for an update for your graphics card driver using the Nvidia app; your DxDiag shows you're using an older version.

mate54when I move that folder, or any of the contents- ie: Neighborhoods folder, the game crashes on launch.
KHilliard13 Please move The Sims 2 Legacy folder from Documents\EA Games\ to your desktop so the game can generate a fresh one.
Before you launch the game, disable EA App overlay in the application settings and let me know whether that lets you load the neighborhood.
