CAS Crash After Patch on 02/08/2025

Hi everyone, 
I will say that after the recent patch the sims 2 I noticed that I am still having crashing issues with CAS or when I do select a household, I do get a popup stating my game has crashed. This is within the same locations i was getting the D3DERR_INVALIIDCALL! error when trying to play the game. In case in this event that this is the same thing I have attached and additional copy of DxDiag below in case it is still needed. Along with a photo of what my screen looks like when I am launching CAS or trying to play an existing family.

    UPDATE: EA_Cade It seems from the update on 2/12/2025 It seems to be working! I can access existing households. Along with going into CAS without the crash messages. 🎉It also let me load in a sim I created in CAS and start playing! So, I can say as of right now it seems the crashes I was having have been resolved.

    I have sims 2 crashing anytime i try to enter a household or create a household. No matter the neighborhood. I was able to play with less crashes 2 patches ago.

    Mine was also the same way the first release it was pretty smooth but after the patches came it I def saw that there was more crashes and issues happening. As always in this case I am jut giving it time and bringing notice to issues as I see them. It is an older game and I know they have a lot of backend work they need to do to get it working on more updated and more modern devices and hardware.

    Hi there! I just got the game and I'm having the same issue. When I go to create a sim or open a new household the game crashes. Is there any update on a possible fix to this?

    hello, im having an issues that i cant even load in my family lot 

    i dont know how to update the sims 2 and dont know what im doing wrong.

    Tbh were all waiting 😥Last I heard I was told they are working on it so its one of those things where we just sit and wait.
