Closes/crashes no error messages it just shuts down and cannot Edge scrolling

 the game randomly crashes right before initiating a loading screen before I can even load a sim in and There are no errors. I'm just back to the desktop with EA App immediately. also edge scrolling ...

It happens for me right after the intro sequence.

Doesn't matter whether I let the intro play through, or click to end it early, once the intro is done, I'm back at my desktop with no error messages.
