I'm having an issue where I cannot finish cooking food, as soon as it's ready to be done my sim will reset and the food will disappear. Same thing is also happening with resturants, when I choose the option to be seated the sim will start the sitting animation but then just reset.
Vul-7 Please confirm that this is happening in an unmodded game. If so, enable testing cheats (open the cheat console by pressing CTRL-Shift-C and enter the cheat boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true) and check for any object errors that happen during these interactions. If you get any, please put your Logs folder (located in Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy) into a ZIP file and attach it to your reply.
I can confirm for you that this happens in the unmodded version. It did not show any object errors that I saw. Removing or deleting the stove/counter doesn’t work, nor does verifying files, or restarting the game.
Can confirm as well this is happening with no mods.
It's happening in my game also. They can eat meals from the fridge but if they cook anything on a stove they reset, just before taking the food out. I also have no mods.
