My game is taking at least 3 minutes to launch and then I’ll play for 5-10 minutes and it’ll crash. What’s going on with this franchise? Every game they put out is buggy and not working as it should! They boldly take our money for broken games and then take years to fix all the issues.
Unfortunately, I am having the same problems. The crashing every 5 to 10 minutes is very frustrating. The screen completely freezes and the only way out is for me to completely reboot the laptop. 😢
Just loaded up my game for the first time in over 18 hours, had no crashing yesterday when we had to play in offline mode, game lasted 5 minutes, I am gonna try and play in offline mode like yesterday by opening task manager killing off all open EA programs, going to EA APP to top left, where there is 3 little lines and choosing play offline, turn off my wifi for a minute and see if it will launch, yesterday I had to delete the Accessory/Group folders under My Docs/EA/Sims2 Legacy folder. I will report back if any crashes. This game has been one hot mess since its re-launch.
It Is the same with me. What Is going on? I am on PC.
Who knows. I was able to play offline yesterday with no crashes only time it crashed if I use the 3x speed, game just disappears and you see your desktop. So I'm trying to NOT use the 3x speeds. My advice is play offline.
