Sim can't eat - Sims 2 Legacy

Yeah same has been happening to me. Super frustrating. Apparently you can use SimPe, an external tool to fix the issue, but I can't get it working 🙃

where did you find this? 

I'm having the exact same issue - no mods installed etc. They can eat snacks but no meals. I tried to delete them with moo, but it didn't fix it.

same thing happened to mine. Actually, some food can't even be plopped down anywhere, they just disappear after cooking. I really hope they fix this. Must be due to some of the things they added with the release that caused issues with the base game. Similar issues I found that are from older builds were due to mods.

My game has no mods aside from the ikea pack. Otherwise it's a clean install.

Same here. No mods... hope it gets fixed soon.

Same issue fresh install of Windows 10, Fresh Install of game no mods. Played the game for about 2 hours and ran into this bug. 

Mine is a little different. right as soon as the food is done being made my sim has an error code and i have to reset them. doesn't matter if its cooked or not it will error.

I can't get any mods to work.

I experienced that a few hours into my save and it was with just one sim! I had to do testingcheats cheat and moveobjects on, delete the sim in buy/build mode, save and go to neighbourhood, load back in and she was reset and it started working again! 

My sim was resetting every time they used the stove so I sold the stove and replaced it and it fixed the bug
