Game crashes when sim returns from work

So my game runs fine and has been for hours but I am playing a household and every time my sim comes home from work the game crashes? I don’t have mods so that’s not an issue, my pc has plenty of memory it just seems to be more of a bug that I can’t get round unless my sim never goes to work again haha. Anyone found a fix?
