Infinite Loading Screen Bug

After playing for a certain amount of time, it appears any community lot I try to visit has an infinite loading screen.

I don't know if it's a coincidence, but only starteds after getting a car. See attached video as an example.

Has anybody else had this issue?

    I did a lot of testing - separated various sims from the family to see if the bug still occured.

    I realised it was only happening to two particular sims, so I just removed them from the family and remade them.

    Shame it happened, hope it doesn't happen again.

    Update 2: I guess I was too happy to soon. I cant select one of the sims. And while I cant play the other one, the time is stick between 19:42 , 19:43, then back to 19:42, and so on

    It is hard to test that because it happens after an undetermined amount of time - and I can't figure out the cause.

    Is there a way to see what is causing the hitch during loading? I checked the log files but most of them are empty.

    It's interesting you say that because I only got the bug after a person returned from university.

    Coincidence? Hard to say.

    Hey all,

    Just for clarity: the fix that was implemented for this issue will not resolve instances of this bug that had already occurred in a save.

    Only new saves created after the most recent game update will see the issue resolved. Please stay tuned for any further updates in this thread.
