Issue with Pet Career Progression in The Sims 2: Legacy Edition

Not sure if there was a patch, but I have a dog in the Entertainment career who was promoted to the top level (Star) even though it still says Roll Over is required for a promotion. I trained him in Play Dead before the latest shift so maybe that was enough?
