Recently launched into the game to find the progress of all my households had some reverted to where they were several saves ago!?
I repaired the game, uninstalled, and reinstalled to start from scratch, but more weirdness ensued. I left a household, and when I got back to it, all the wants and stuff were the same as I remembered, but the time on the in-game clock had reverted to previous save? What the hell?
I just want to play my comfort game 😞
this is happening to me i have been saving my sims and their progress has been saving but now my child is spinning in the yard. but any changes to the house or the lot do not save and revert back
Same here, I save several times during gameplay but then the house reverts back. It’s so frustrating.
I commented before, but I wanted to add more information. I had multiple saves that were just fine and then the problem started again. Not only are saves inconsistent, but I've had some things save and others not. I built a new house and saved and exited to the neighborhood, and then exited the game to make sure it stuck. It stuck. I added a family and began to decorate. When I was done, I exited to the neighborhood. The house was gone. The family was still on the lot. I went in to see if it was playable. It was. The family was fine, but they were alone on a vacant lot despite the house having been built first.
Just had this happen to me. Thought maybe my game just crashed before it saved last time. Decided to spend quite some time on a different household , saved 3 times before I closed the game just to be sure ! came back about an hour later and everything saved but the house I just spent time doing ! lost a few hours worth of play. 😢😢
same here! i save multiple times over and over and my entire house gets reset. i don't even use mods. hope this is fixed soon. :(
I'm having the same issue. I had a lot corrupt so I had to demolish it. I built a new house, added the family back, and finished the decorating. When I opened again, the original house was back. I also noticed that saving is hit or miss. I saved multiple times while playing but those saves might or might not stick if the game crashed or didn't shut down cleanly later.
I'm having the same issue ☹️ I remodeled one of my homes, added furniture and everything. I came back today and everything was the same as before, all that work gone! One of my babies had aged up when I saved, and it's still a toddler but now nobody will interact with her, and everyone is doing what they were doing a few saves ago. It's so frustrating
