Nearly 6 months later with multiple updates and it’s still bugged?

I wrote about some bugs I had encountered during my first play through of the legacy edition since its release, that was 5 months ago..

I had stopped playing the game to allow for some updates to hopefully be able to play without so many bugs only to come back twice now since then and after multiple updates and I still have all of the same bugs? Have they even bothered to fix anything or is it just my game?

I still can’t cook anything on the stove without my sim resetting and the food disappearing, I still can’t order food when on another community lot, I still get bugged with stairs, I still can’t be seated correctly when on a vacation lot..? The game is still basically unplayable to me and it’s been 5 months!?! What the heck were the updates for?

any help would be amazing as I’m so frustrated at this point, I just want to play and enjoy TS2!!!

I don't think they explicitly explain why they added borderless window mode in one of the patch note. But it makes sense why they added it. It's a modern display feature and makes some people lives  more convenient. I'm loving it since I got a dual monitor setup and it makes multitasking convenient and I don't have to wait for my computer to unfreeze everytime I tab out

you can change the ui scaling if the ui looks small. Patch note 7 explains simply how to change the ui scaling. Although, I do gotta warn that increasing the ui size is just gonna make the ui look slightly blurry

I also have a dual monitor setup, so I keep Sims 4 in windowed mode too.

Why in window mode if you have dual monitors? Your game looks better in fullscreen/borderless window mode

One monitor is hooked up to a Windows machine for Sims 2 and the other is hooked up to my Mac laptop and I use Synergy to go between the two monitors/computers with my mouse and keyboard. I can go between them with the games in fullscreen just fine, and Legacy is in fullscreen/borderless windowed right now. So I can play Sims 4 and look at things on the Windows screen or I can play Sims 2 and look at things on the Mac screen. But I can't drag items from one screen to another or open things from one on the other because they are completely different operating systems. It's not a "traditional" dual setup. When I needed to look at screenshots from Sims 4 yesterday side by side with my game for my build, I had to move the game window over because it's not possible to drag them to the other screen. I also do everything else on my Mac, so it's easier to leave it in windowed mode so I can easily pop in and out of the game. Some of it I could do on the Windows screen, sure, but I hate Windows. If Sims 2 was playable on my Mac, I would have a traditional dual screen setup and wouldn't have a Windows machine.
