Sims 2 Legacy is nearly unplayable

Ok, I just tested a vacation lot with premades from Strangetown, I'm using Jenny Smith and Jill Smith to do the testing.


I went to Twikkii Island and chose the Twikkii beach hotel, I chose my room and checked in, saved and exited the game and was able to load back in. So I tested the restaurant within the hotel, I got Jenny smith to order and eat her meal (salad) without issue, I paid the bill after she finished eating, I then saved, and I went to the boardwalk with both Jenny and Jill where the food stalls are, and I got Jill Smith to order ribs, again ordered and ate without issue. I got Jenny to buy Private Island Figurine from the cashier, all went smoothly, I then got her to buy a dress from the same cashier, again went smoothly. Couldn't buy jewelry from this location because it was facing the wrong way LOL



I walked (using lazy duchess mod for this travel) back to the Twikkii beach hotel, saved my game when they loaded in, exited the game, went back to Twikkii island and loaded in again without a hiccup. I then tried out going to the beach because some people are having an issue loading back to their vacation lot after visiting the beach in the vacation world, and I had zero problem visiting the beach and then returning to my hotel again, zero issues.




I will test the other vacation hoods and lots too, but the Twikki beach hotel is working fine in my game.



This was all tested with a clean hood Strangetown (I get clean hoods for all my neighbourhoods,) and various game fixes.

I do have a number of fixes from MATY which may be stopping me from replicating these errors, and I delete the cache files after I exit the game. The only issue I seem to be facing right now is the beach lots crashing when I try to edit. I suspect that a lot of the fixes I always save in my backup folder which I moved over to the legacy are what's stopping these issues that other people are experiencing. 



This may be an issue related to a bug that makes the tour guide continue respawning over and over which creates a lot of character files, and I do have the fixes that solve this issue from More Awesome Than You: anti-redundancy, notownieregen, nodormieregen, nostrayrespawn.
