Sim glitches when cooking

I have the same problem. It seems to happen with some food (e.g. turkey, salmon, pork chops - sorry, I don't know if the names are the same in english as they are in the german version), others are no problem. And the stove isn't okay after that, the stove door stays open, I had to buy a new one each time (and I tried very often!).
It's really no fun eating the same three meals everyday although the sim has a high skill level in cooking.
so far only quick meals work when this happens, i thought it might be the stove so i had her made a garden salad but that glitched too
