Sims 2 crashing without warning when entering game
The last two days i have tried to play the sims 2. Up until now it has worked just fine. But yesterday when i entered a world and started my household the game just shuts down without any error code or warning. Just goes straight back to home screen. And the game is not running in the background either.
When i try to open the game again from the ea app the sims 2 icon is not "reacting" the same way as the other games in my library. Normally when you hover the mouse over the game icon the area highlights and you are able to click on it to play the game. Sims 2 does not do that and i cannot enter the menu of the game to press play game.
This makes me believe that it's not my computer that has a problem at the moment. This has never happened before. Is this happening to anyone else?
I figured it out! It was the lot that for some reason forced my game to shut down. I placed the "camping" apartment lot in my own world and apparently that was enough to ruin everything 🫣 I made my own apartments and now it's smooth sailing with my sim 😎
