Sims 2 Legacy Collection | Cheat bar stopped appearing
Ive been playing the legacy collection since it came out on steam and nothing I’ve done different all of a sudden Ctrl + shift + c will only take a screenshot. I’ve uninstalled all my mods, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I’ve checked all my background hotkeys and no other programs utilize that same command. I’ve tried every answer provided on Reddit and EA forums and others. The cheat bar will not appear. If it’s because of the last patch update in 2025, how does it make sense it’s stopped working just now in 2026? Any answers or solutions would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
If you just push C, or if the game thinks you just pushed C, it takes a screenshot. On occasion I don't quite push the keys at the same time and end up doing just that. Make sure you are pushing the control and shift before pushing C and that you are holding them all down together. I'm sorry if that's not the issue here, I just know sometimes it happens.
Some other suggestions. You said you already checked hotkeys. Double check that no other programs are running in the background. Sometimes Ctrl + shift + windows key + c will work. Sometimes using alt +tab to leave the game, then clicking on the window and re-entering the game will suddenly make it work.
