This is also happening to me too, I just found out this issue this morning... hope they solve it soon.

I don't know if this will help you at all if you have the snapshot issue on Sims 2, but I did a clean boot of my PC and it seemed to fix it? We'll see if it holds up once I boot it with the mods I like to play with loaded up.
