Sims 2 Legacy corrupted files issue

Does anyone else have this as their sims icon when they download the sims 2 legacy and have the corrupted files error?

I have been trying to open the game on the EA app as well and I've been having the same problem. 

This happened to me on the day the game came out on the EA App. I did attempt at reinstalling, changing compatibility mode etc. Even talked to someone from EA Support. I ended up getting a refund but I am hesitant at rebuying the game since it seems this issue is still ongoing even after the patch release. I hope it can be resolved.

It installed for me, but I had to do it under the administrator, where it didn't put it directly into onedrive.
