Sims 2 Legacy crashing at random..

Sometimes it crashed loading from ea app so I uninstall and reinstall it. It worked, Then moved in a pre made sim family (Travellers) in a pre made sim home in belladonna cove after customized it crashed when attempting to save it. Loading back into game family was still in the home but all my work was gone. So I re did it saved as I went played for an hour saving randomly and it crashes again. I haven’t opened it up again. Yesterday it crashed multiple times with a different 1 person sim while on vacation but never lost any progress so I'm not sure what's happening. It's frustrating. The sims 2 is by far my favorite of them all..
