So, when i bought and installed the new legacy collection i had no issues at first ( except for my child sim disappearing after i had just made them and loaded into a house). I have tried 6 times to load in that same house today and now it keeps coming up with that message. I have installed the 4gb patch in hopes that worked and im still having issues. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it still comes up with the message. I have just 'repaired' the sims 2 legacy within the EA App so I will try again and see if that works. Anyways... does anyone know how to fix this xoxo

Same!! I was playing with a family since yesterday without any problems, but now out of sudden everytime i load onto the family the game crashes... I just feel so betrayed lol I was so happy to finally be able to play The Sims 2. If anyone knows how to correct this... please

I'm also having this crash issue with The Sims 2 Legacy (got it with the birthday bundle). Also the audio sounds really weird when the Sims talk: like their in a box or a metal can or something, it's very scrapy-sounding.

I noticed that my last crashes happens when the pet comes home from work and I tried to repair the game but it didn't help.
Have you been able to play without crashes with the new family serena2574 or is it still crashing?

That message, application has crashed and will now terminate, has something to do with the texture memory. I had that happen to me, and I play the disc version, but once I checked the texture memory, and then did stuff, I got it to where it no longer said 32mb, and the message stopped. Go to here, Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Logs or whatever it says for the legacy version and look for a config log file. Check to see what it says for texture memory. I don't remember what you have to do take care of that, but I hope this helps in some way.

I'm taking a look now but I can't find any config files in the Logs folder. I do have an ObjectError_N001_t360142 textfile and it has something to do with the pet my simsfamily have because it has the pets name in it and no other sim is mentioned. But there's also a lot of text in the AppErrors and Audio errors textfiles - but I don't understand them.
