Sims 2 Legacy crashing when adding a sim in CAS

Just bought it today and the first thing I wanted to do was play in Strangetown with a sim I created. So I clicked on add family and went to CAS but when I clicked on add an adult sim to my household...

Hello, I had the same problem and I find the solution :)

I went to windows graphics settings, added sims 2 then chose to use high performance and now it works.
