Sims 2: legacy, vaction lot not loading

I was going on vacation with my sim to Twikkii, and went to travel somewhere there. When I wanted to return to the hotel the game did not load anymore, the music is playing but it is just not loading. I close my game and went to start it up again. Went to my current household and now it does not load at all. After waiting 10 minutes I started to hear rain and thunder but nothing else happend. It is just stuck on the loading screen. Really frustrating, since I now can not play with my household :(
