Sims 2 Legacy will not launch (for 2 days now)
I have been trying to launch the Sims 2 Legacy game for 2 days now having purchased on Friday, it's not Sunday evening and still nothing. When I first downloaded I had an error message saying some of the files were corrupted, I've since cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, restarted the whole laptop, run both the EA app and the game shortcut as an administrator, changed the shortcut file... nothing is working and I have tried to speak to an EA agent who has said the issue is ongoing and the team is working to fix the problem. They offered me a refund but I just want to play the game! Has anyone been able to solve this themselves?
