Sims 2 Legacy won't Launch and provides no error message

I have scoured the internet for solutions but can't find any for my Sims 2. My game refuses to do more than start the "Preparing Game" prompt from the EA App and then immediately returing to my EA App Library page. No error message, just frustration. I've tried the -w workaround, running in adminstrator, run in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 3), Repairing the Game, Uninstalling the Game and Reinstalling the Game, with CC and without CC from clean installs. Nothing works. I'm so frustrated and disappointed. I only have 20 hours in the game and deleted my save files due to corruption fears, (long-term Sims 2 player and serial BACC enthusisast and used to starting new saves). I just want to play this game. Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them and any solutions they found?

32gb of RAM

GPU: NVIDIA RTX A3000 Laptop GPU

Sims 2 is loaded on my internal 1TB SSD 

Windows and all drivers are up to date along with the EA App and the Sims 2
