My game just updated with the patch. Instead of giving the crash message, it just turns off out of nowhere.

Same here. I had no issues for the first week or so, then all of a sudden it would crash when I went to load a household. I was getting an error message initially, then after the most recent patch it just crashes without an error message.
I have tried repairing the game, uninstalling/reinstalling, turning off shadows, turning off overlay....any other ideas out there? EA
is obviously no help.
