Sims 2 Legacy

I am having the same issues with crashing, have tried repairing game through EA app to no avail - only had issues since latest update

Same here. I had no issues for the first week or so, then all of a sudden it would crash when I went to load a household. I was getting an error message initially, then after the most recent patch it just crashes without an error message. 

I have tried repairing the game, uninstalling/reinstalling, turning off shadows, turning off overlay....any other ideas out there? EA
 is obviously no help. 

Same here.. when I try to load a family the game loads till the last tile and then poof gone. I think this is the update that I did this morning. I also tried to add the 4gb patch but it still doesn't work

Same thing is happening to me. I have never been able to get past the loading neighborhood screen. Instead of the error message mine just closes the game instead. Since launch i haven't been able to play at all. Mine either closes immediately or on creating magic.
