After yesterday's update (Feb 6, 2025), my game is just now randomly crashing. It lets me load up just fine, but then as I am playing, it tells me "The application has crashed. The application will now terminate." I was not having this issue before.
Yeah, I'm having the same issue. I just bought the game and downloaded it but it crashes every time I enter create a sim or choose a family to play. It says the same thing for me. I payed £25 for it so I would like to play the game past the main menu screen.
Me too! My game actually worked fine on launch and now since the new update can't play at all... crashes everytime I try to load anything. Can't believe there isn't some kind of class action lawsuit for these faulty games to be honest...
I’m having this issue too, it’s very disappointing. I ended up taking out all my mods and doing a repair but it still crashes as soon as I click create a sim. I really hope they fix this because I already spent more than I was willing to on such an old game.
