Sims 2 Patch Notes Grief

Question

It has been a week since Sims 2 patch notes 6 was implemented, and the game has barely been playable since then. With no way to change the ratio size or enable edge scrolling, I have not been able to have an enjoyable gaming experience. I do not know what the purpose of the patch notes is, but the game was decently playable before then and EA should attempt to remedy this or to get rid of the patch notes entirely. Please, those who want the patch notes gone as well, keep posting your annoyances on the forum page and, hopefully, EA will respond with an update.&nbsp;

Apparently, the issues are supposed to be addressed today (March 22nd), but I am not sure of the time, especially in different time zones.

I was so excited when they came out the release of the Sims 2. The first time that I played it worked just like it used to when I played years ago and it brought back some real nostalgia! It's been so frustrating to play since the first patch went out. It's really hard to play without being able to use your mouse to move around the screen and scrolling is only working with my keyboard arrows. The graphics that show their wants, needs, skills, etc. are so small now, too after the patch. I feel your frustration and I hope EA comes out with another patch that fixes these issues.
