ive started fresh saved many times, and when i merge a sim with an existing household, a sim will sometimes get deleted. the issue has been addressed of sims getting deleted when the game crashes--which seems to be fixed. However i still run into issues when i merge families.
ZetaBartholomew Can you let me know which household this happens with, and whether it happens randomly or every single time?
And can you reproduce this in a completely vanilla setup after the patch? Please repair the game, update if needed, then go to Documents\EA Games\ and rename The Sims 2 Legacy folder to something else (The Sims 2 Legacy OLD is fine). When you launch the game, it will generate a brand new folder you can test this in.
Please keep in mind that any neighborhood where Sims have disappeared may be corrupt and you could run into further issues in the future.
