I bought the Sims 2 legacy about 2 weeks ago. Overall, its been great. Except for modular stairs. I can't delete stair placed outdoors. I am trying to create a swimmable lake but I can't get rid of the sunken stairs. I have also had this issue when placing them in normal spots. How do I delete them? I have tried the boolProp testingcheatsenabled true cheat and it didn't work.
I'm not sure why modular stairs can sometimes do that, but it's always been an issue. You should be able to use MoveObjects On, and then delete them. Conversely, you can also place stairs with it. That cheat doesn't work on stairs in later games, but does in Sims 2.
If that doesn't work, I suggest getting the FFS Lot Debugger or maybe the Stuck Object Deleter from MoreAwesomeThanYou. I have not used the second one, but it's my understanding that it deletes anything that is stuck in a spot it should not be.
