Studying physiology breaks Body skill updating

Hello all, I had one of my sims study Physiology, and they can now upgrade their Body skill at breakneck speed. I'm talking going from Body 4 to 10 in about 10 real-time seconds. I tried using this mod:

by putting it into my Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy\Downloads folder and extracting, but the bug still exists. How do I fix this?
