The Sims 2 Legacy - Jewelry Bug

In the Accessories section for Jewelry during Sim Creation, there's a technical bug on the earrings and other jewelry items. If you have earring studs set for All Wear and then try to set different kinds of earrings for different occasions (swimwear, formal, etc), it will not get rid of the previous pair of earrings and instead overlap them both onto the Sim's ear. For example, if you pick gold studs for Everyday but you want gold hoops for formal, it'll just apply both earrings at once. Also, if you try to use the "Everything Off" button feature, it won't work. It won't take the earrings off at all and in some instances, give you jewelry on your Sim that you never even picked in the first place.

When I tried to click the earrings off, it gave my Sim a nose piercing instead despite furiously clicking the off button. The only way I've learned to remedy this is....just make them wear one pair of jewelry for literally everything or not use the accessories at all.

It's not a huge bug that prohibits me from playing the game like so many others, but please fix it at some point. I would love to have my Sims wear jewelry again. :(
