Unplayable Sims 2
not able to play the sims 2 at all since the update... Try to load up game just for EA app to pretend to load the game and it just doesn't do anything...

Sorry to hear this! We’ve had some reports of the game sometimes taking a very long time to start. Does the game eventually open for you, or does it simply immediately exit back to the EA App/Epic/Steam application?
Please also provide the following info to help us look into this further:
Does the behavior change if you use the -w option to make it start in Windowed mode?
What happens if you move your game save folder to your desktop, then start the game again?Please be sure to attach a DxDiag to your post as well. Thank you!
beauuty__lovee watchtroy Please go to Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy and delete the following files before trying to launch the game again:
- Groups.cache
- Accesory.cache
- Cigen.package (if present).
Let me know if that does anything.
No it doesn't work it just start the EA app and then don't load the game at all it just immediately exit back to the EA app. I have my game already in windows mode that's how I play. EA_Solaire
I have the same problem, I downloaded game twice even, refresh what I could and game is just not running (acording to ea games is played ... somewhere). I bought set with the Sims 1, and this game is working without any interuption.
I dont have even that files what you listed, just Log full with txt and Teleport
EA_SolaireI attached the DxDiag to my post. When I press play it makes my screen flash like it's going to start but then does nothing and is stuck with a frozen desktop screen until I task manager end process.
I tried and it did not work but thank you
