Who else misses the randomness and challenge of the sims 2?

Love all the responses. The randomness doesn’t even have to lead to death. I would be happy if they just added events or actions that could cause loss of skills, demotions in job, massive drop in fun, rather than just a +1 negative mood that does practically nothing and goes away quickly.
