Opening Post Biographies: (active characters) Greg Preston (Preston house) Greg was born in the year 2669. Greg was raised in the Mountain Village “Ent”. He was the son of a restaurant owner, ...
As soon as Greg Preston and Botan Nara returned from “Ent”, they started to extend Greg’s cottage with the help of Charles Vaughan and former builder Simon Stone. Just able to finish it before the snow became too deep. A new larger bedroom for Greg was added, with a separate entrance and large enough to also be his study. The new students Anders Karlson and Anita Simone would sleep in Greg’s former bedroom.

Shina Nara gave birth to her first son the 4th of December. The delivery was long and painful. This was an incident where she regretted not living in “Ent” with doctors and hospital. The parents already knew the baby’s name would be Daichi if it was a son.
The snowfall was intense, soon Greg decided to shut down the trade station, realising the heavy trade caravan would no longer be able pass the mountains. Only the letter carriers should still be able to reach the settlement by foot, once or twice a month. With the trade station closed this was the time of year where Charles Vaughan was able to socialise more.
Having four students in Greg’s house was seemingly no problem, at least not this first month. There was no sign of jealousy, even though the two couples sometimes spend time with each other’s girl or boy.

During the fall the settlement had become an unbearable mess, with dirty clothing piling up in all the larger households, clearly a health threat. The Elder’s decided that the dirtier homes should have inhouse laundry systems. Machines was installed at Preston, Gentry-Beach and Mercier Houses. Other houses could then either use the old laundry or get the laundry done in the above mentioned homes.

The first ever Jam session known to have taken place in Greg’s river, was performed at the assembly ground – it was a blues jam – sadly the weather was quite awful and nobody came to watch.
