I don't think it's Origin, but it could be I messed up on installing my game while avoiding Origin. (staying on 1.67) I kept getting messed up allowing the discs to update the game while not letting it install Origin. It seems to run properly except the badge triggering. I'll figure it out. :#
If you just didn't download the latest update, that should be fine. I'm ticking off achievements just fine on 1.67.2.024001. I haven't tried that particular one though. If I have time, I'll try it when I get back from the post office, but it may be tomorrow before I have time.
