@Lexers615 - Thanks. My laptop cannot handle the game at all. I used to play just the base game on it. Installing Seasons makes it unplayable even with turning down the visual effects. Now I can empathize with people who post that the game lags terribly. I normally play on Windows 7.
I have installed the base and Seasons on my Vista computer. Installing from autorun got hung up on installing the patch. I found the patch on the Seasons DVD in the support folder - thanks to advice on the forum. I manually ran the patch then I installed the game. I am able to start a game. Before I try for the badge, I have some questions for you.
I was not going to install IP until I got Nice Arm. Should I install IP, patch and then try for Nice Arm?
Is it necessary to copy my current downloads folder into my new game folder which I created just to get the two badges.
Whenever I try to login, I get a message that I have to update my game. I have not done that yet since I thought I was not to patch further than IP. I start the game bypassing the launcher. I have not logged in. Do I play first to get the badge and then login to update my game?
When I achieve the badges, do I copy the download folder back into my active EA folder on my Windows 7 computer? If I don't copy the folder will the badge show online only?
