Ambrosia didn't work .......

Not at all, I've drop Ambrosia in the graveyard and watched random ghosts eat it and come back to life. Sometimes, it almost seems they fight over it.

My sims stone was in her husbands inventory to take to the Science lab. When Leigh was returned to the family suddenly she had possession of her stone. I tried to give it back to Hank to try this again with her, but I couldn't transfer it from Leigh's inventory to his. Now it's not even in her inventory. I checked the family bin and it's not there either. When their ghost baby was born, he had a stone in his inventory, his is gone too.

Thanks for the advice Aarin, but our stones are gone :cry:

I did move their 2 Sim kids out .... on a lot right next door to their parents. This is so cool. I can watch both lots. I love that.

Another way to get them back to human form is to save them to your folder. You could then go to CAS and recreate the family including the toddler. This may not be an option you like if you don't want to start over. All the skills acquired will be gone. It would be like starting a new family but they won't be ghosts anymore.

Yeah, I'm going to pass on recreating. Thank you for the tip tho. Boy, I made such a fuss when she accidentally died and now... I'm done caring :( becuz of all this Ambrosia stuff. I used cheats to keep Hank's motives up so he can fish non-stop for angelfish then deathfish. The whole goal for a day and a half was bringing Leigh and Angelo back, which was just met with disappointment after disappointment ... blah. I'm tired of trying now :cry:

I think teens can haunt you but I know children do not.

if you mean haunt as in the ghosts roaming around the house, then children DO. ive had a few wondering around at night time in my sims house...

anyway does ambrosia go bad? as in rotten or whatever because i dont want to have to leave it out all night for a ghost cus it might go bad..i dont know much about ambrosia ive never had the chance to make it because my sim who had all the required skills and plants/fish ended up moving out of town before i had the chance to.. :shock:

Good to know kids can haunt. That means you could feed them ambrosia. I had not seen that before.

I have left ambrosia out for several hours and it does not seem to go bad. I had it in inventory a while too and it did not go bad.

I took my sim's stone to the lab after I accidentally starver her to death. She was able to move back in with the family, but I lost her just before she was going to be able to make Ambrosia.

I started a new game with her ghost in it, sent a sim to the graveyard to bring it home, and she haunted the place for ages while he skilled up and made the ambrosia for her. All the while she could not interact with this family, but every night she came to the kitchen for a meal and then took a nap in their bed. When I finally got the Ambrosia made, she ate it and came back to life.


It was a long, drawn-out process, but it did work. I was able to put her stone in the yard, though, while she waited for her hero to get his skills up.

LOL I am going to have to try dropping Ambrosia off in the graveyard. It's so over crowded now I'm ready to scream! LOL It is kind of hard to fish for deathfish with 30 + ghosts wanting to scare you.
I have never tried Ambrosia on a playable ghost. I might have to do that if I ever have one again.
