I like the overall placement of everything. Might I suggest you try switching the kitchen cabinet colour. Take the black and put it on the bottom to match the appliances and use white on the top cabinets. Try a tile small like you have but one with 2 - 3 colours and add a little of the red. Love the decor on the table. I think you got the place settings, tea set and cabinet from
SimsTrasTos. Just keep in mind documenting your cc so you can advise the downloader where to find it.

I agree with Judy about the lights. You could try placing multiple copies on top of each other. Just as you do it, turn them one rotation each time. You will get an interesting light there. This is the same method you used to place the chandelier.
