Assignment One - Building a house from a floor plan
Assignment Two - Interior Design from a designated colour pallette
Assignment Three - Landscaping from 2 pictures
Assignment Four - Preparing promotional material
Assignment Five - Promoting and Uploading
Please read carefully.
Advise your participation and be prepared to complete each assignment in a timely fashion. Open to all levels, but designed to teach the novice. Prize will be a job well done and a learning experience. No cheats allowed in this assignment. No budget restrictions.
Assignment One1. Take this floor plan and build a house (walls and roof only) on a lot of your choice. A suggestion is to use 2' x 2' = 1 Sim tile. So round to the nearest 2'.
2. Plan to leave room for a large garden.
3. Decide the best plan to convert this floor plan for use by our beloved pixelated people.
4. Do not use auto roof, but plan and implement an interesting roof line.
5. House must be playable.
6. Take one picture of each of the following views:
---a. Aerial view with roof off.
---b. Front view with all walls and roof up.
---c & d. Both side views with all walls and roof up.
---e. Back view with walls and roof up.
7. Submit the pictures to this thread for comment.
8. Save the lot ready for Assignment Two.
