Can I turn off story progression for specific households?

If there is a mod that does this too please lmk!

I want story progression for my world, but i want some households to remain as they are (same stats, no aging, same jobs etc). Is there a way to do this?
  • I believe you do this through nraas story progression mod - https://www.nraas.net/community/StoryProgression-Interactions
As well as using the "caste" system - https://www.nraas.net/StoryProgression-FAQ-Caste
  • As Katyfernlily mentioned, this is part of the point of NRaas StoryProgression, which can prevent pretty much every type of progression if you want. Check out @igazor 's rotational caste settings:

He's done the same thing it sounds like you want to for his protected households, so you could simply copy his settings into your own game. If you notice something you didn't want to happen, it's easy to adjust from there.

Are you going to use caste settings? If so, you need to click on City Hall or your active sims' computer. But if all of the sims you want to include are going to be in the same house, you can do it with household settings. Click on the lot, or one of the sims that live there and choose household settings.
  • Explanation of "stasis" - https://www.nraas.net/community/storyprogression-discussion/topic6263

    Explanation of "push" - https://www.nraas.net/community/storyprogression-discussion/topic5580

"Allow career" - read Sarah Sims post - https://www.nraas.net/community/storyprogression-discussion/topic3566#:~:text=Click%20on%20the%20sim%2C%20then,%3E%20(Change%20to%20False).
  • There is a lot of info for the story progression mod, is using the Lot Story Progression feature the simpliest way to do this?

My goal is to have 1-3 active families I play rotationally. I want the world around me to continue to age, get married, lose jobs etc.
Except I do want to make my own custom 'townie singles' house. This household I dont want them to marry, age, lose jobs, age etc unless one of them joins my other active households. Basically a house where I can find a friend/mate I know isnt a psychopath and dresses nice XD

Whats the easiest way to do this using NRAAS? I have it downloaded its just a little overwhelming

EDIT: Watching a yt tutorial to see if that helps :)

Thanks. Trying to navigate these settings. So 'caste' allows you to create your own group of any indiviual sims all together and choose what theyre allowed to do?

Vs the Household Settings with story progression, which affects each sim living in the household.

With the options, if I choose things for career:
For example I have a Rock Star in my house. I want him to continue with his job, just not promotions/demotions or quitting his job. I want him to behave as if unplayed while I play other households.

Is choosing 'allow career' letting him keep his current job? Or is 'allow career' letting him choose another career? Will selecting this have him keep it or quit it while I play other households?

And what does the 'push:allow after work/at night/during day' mean?
    What does 'stasis' mean?

Sorry I know this is a lot of questions XD if anyone knows pls help mayday ?
