Complete list of Buildings / Rabbit Holes needed for a new town?

Thanks that is a really long list, I can use that for sure! I have to figure out the basics, stuff like fire station (they arent even in all of the store towns), elixir store and such!

@AlHollandiyah I've seen people say you need a fire station so that the fire department comes during fires, but University town has no fire station, and the fire department showed up when I started the dorm on fire the other day, so I don't think you need one unless you want to play the Ambitions career.

Pretty sure Hospital and City Hall Rabbit Holes are the only two 'basics' that most people wouldn't want to live without and beyond that, just whatever lot types you want the town to have. It's really hard trying to get "all" of them into one world. (Just went through that myself last week)

So the city hall, the hospital (what happens if you don't have one?) how about schools and the likes? Where do sims work if you don't have any work related rabbit holes?

@AlHollandiyah That's why I said 'based on what you want'. You do need work lots to go to work, and school lots to go to school...but you get to decide which specific ones you want. The game itself will be fine without any of them, so it's just dealer's choice.

Hospital is just annoying not to have because you won't have a place for flu shots to prevent your sims from getting sick. Think it's also good to have for having babies.

My sims always have those at home. But this is why I am trying to make a list of what is necessary. To know what my sims will actually need, not as much what makes the game run. I am currently looking up CAW tutorials so I will keep track of this thread! Thank you very much!

And yeah, the challenge is an interesting one. I haven't yet had the opportunity to start it because I'm on a mission to get my badges completed.
